I am thrilled and deeply honoured to have been selected as the Wild Card Winner during the filming of Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year, Series 12, in Whitby on 22nd June 2026.

To have my work chosen by artist and judge Tai-Shan Schierenberg is a tremendous privilege. Receiving recognition from an artist whose work, insight, and opinion I greatly admire is both humbling and immensely encouraging.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey and reinforces my passion for painting directly from observation, responding to the light, atmosphere, and spirit of a place.

I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for the support and encouragement I have received along the way.

This achievement is particularly meaningful as it follows my selection as a Wild Card artist for the second consecutive year.
