View from the Blue Bridge captures the early morning atmosphere of St James’s Park during my participation in last year’s Sky Landscape Artist of the Year competition in London. Painted in just two hours from the iconic Blue Bridge, the work reflects the immediacy and energy of that moment—the soft morning light, the shifting sky, and the quiet presence of the city awakening.
Working within a limited timeframe pushed me to respond instinctively, focusing on mood, colour, and movement rather than detail. The painting embodies both the excitement and vulnerability of creating under pressure, embracing spontaneity and the joy of the creative process.
Through this piece, I hope to share that experience with a wider community and inspire people of all abilities to embrace their creativity. Art is not only about perfection or training—it is about courage, expression, and showing up in the moment.
